How does Telephone Popular work?

Discover how Telephone Popular works, a low-cost telephone service available to CadÚnico beneficiaries.
The program, although not completely free, offers affordable rates for low-income families.
For just R$15 per month, subscribers have access to telephone services, the cost being subject to variations depending on region and operator.
The package includes 90 minutes for local and landline calls, but if you exceed this limit, you will need to add credits to Telephone Popular.
This same rule applies to calls to cell phones and national or international calls. Keep your data up to date and take advantage of this economical communication option!
How do I register or update the Single Registry?
If you are thinking about signing up for the Single Registry, the first step is to go to the Social Assistance Reference Center (CRAS).
Take personal documents and those of the people who live with you with you. There, an interview will take place to check the documents and check the family's financial situation.
This is important to ensure that the family is entitled to social benefits.
Oh, don't forget to bring some documents when registering, such as birth certificate, CPF, ID, marriage certificate (if applicable), work card, voter registration card and, if you have one, the Administrative Register of Indigenous Birth (RANI).
Now, if you just need to update the data in CadÚnico and nothing has changed, just confirm the information on the website or via Single Registry app.
But if there have been any changes since the last update, it's time to take a look at CRAS again. There, you will be able to make the necessary changes to the registration. That simple!
How do I order the Popular Telephone?

To guarantee access to Telephone Popular, it is necessary to be registered and have updated data in the Single Registry (CadÚnico), as already mentioned.
To contract the service, the person responsible for the family must contact the desired operator, having documents such as the Social Identification Number (NIS) and CPF in hand.
If the CPF is not linked to CadÚnico, it will also be necessary to inform the voter registration card or Administrative Register of Indigenous Birth (RANI), if applicable.
The numbers to contact the operators are now available:
- 10312 – CTBC Telecom;
- 10331 – Hi Region 1;
- 10314 – Oi Region 2;
- 10315 – Telefônica/Vivo;
- 10343 – Sercomtel.
After making the request, the operator will check the data on the CadÚnico and may approve or deny the service request.
If approved, the installation will be carried out by the company within 7 days.
Did you find this news interesting? So, don't waste time and request the service right now by calling the mentioned numbers. This way, you will be able to take advantage of the benefits offered by the government.
