If you can, you can expect to take it home:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The famous 13th;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>FGTS and that pile of INSS contributions;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The salary, of course;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prior notice;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vacations with the additional one third.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Informal workers get the full amount, with no income tax or INSS deduction.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now, if you want to keep everything in order, with a record in your wallet, you'll have to settle the FGTS contributions and deposits that are overdue. And be careful, because there could be a fine for this delay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"e-possivel-se-aposentar-sendo-um-trabalhador-informal\"><strong>Is it possible to retire as an informal worker?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You see, those who are self-employed or informal end up being excluded from social security contributions, which can complicate life when it comes to hanging up their boots.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So how do you make sure you're not left in the lurch when the time comes to retire?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A good way out is to go to the INSS and register as an individual taxpayer.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this way, you can contribute an amount ranging from the minimum wage (which today is around R$ 1.1 thousand) up to the maximum INSS limit, which is R$ 6,433.57.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you're self-employed and don't have a formal contract, that's your thing. Now, if you don't have a fixed income but want to contribute anyway, you can join as an optional contributor. There are three types of rate to choose from: 5%, 11% and 20%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"posso-me-aposentar-como-autonomo\"><strong>Can I retire as a self-employed person?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"750\" height=\"500\" src=\"http:\/\/jornalpopular.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/image-5.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1447\" srcset=\"https:\/\/jornalpopular.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/image-5.png 750w, https:\/\/jornalpopular.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/image-5-300x200.png 300w, https:\/\/jornalpopular.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/image-5-150x100.png 150w, https:\/\/jornalpopular.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/image-5-696x464.png 696w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Google Images<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For those who are self-employed or on the daily run, there are two ways to go: the simplified plan, which charges 11% of the minimum and promises a benefit in the same range, but no chance of retirement for length of service.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the standard scheme, the contribution is 20% of what you earn, and gives you the freedom to aim for a higher benefit, with the option of retiring for time on the road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 5% rate is designed for low-income people registered with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.br\/pt-br\/servicos\/inscrever-se-no-cadastro-unico-para-programas-sociais-do-governo-federal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Cad\u00danico<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But here's the tip: before choosing a plan, talk it over with a professional you trust, especially now that the pension reform is underway.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This means that you need to know exactly whether you are entitled to an age pension or a contribution pension.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another way is to become a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.br\/empresas-e-negocios\/pt-br\/empreendedor\/quero-ser-mei\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MEI<\/a>, the Individual Microentrepreneur.
