This way, each child will be entitled to receive R$440 per month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is important to highlight that imprisonment assistance is not automatically granted after arrest; It is necessary to make a request to the INSS.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This request can be made at any time, but there are some conditions to consider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If the request is made within 90 days of arrest, payment will be retroactive to the date of the incident, or 180 days in the case of dependents under 16 years of age.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After this period, payment will not have retroactive effect, being granted from the date of the request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"como-pedir-o-auxilio-reclusao\"><strong>How do I request confinement assistance?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To request imprisonment assistance, family members need to access the website <a href=\"https:\/\/meu.inss.gov.br\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">My INSS<\/a>.
