Only public servants linked to the Federal Executive Branch and teachers from state and municipal public education networks were authorized to register to be part of the RNC.

In both cases, these professionals must be active during the year in which the test will be administered, that is, in 2023.

Additionally, to participate in the composition of the Enem RNC, competitors must have at least secondary education, and registration is prohibited for those who have a spouse, partner or relatives up to the third degree already registered for the exam.

How does the role of an evaluator occur in Enem?

Assessors perform the function of ensuring the proper administration of national exam assessments.

Within this context, regarding working on ENEM 2023, it is the responsibility of the evaluators to receive the students, open the test packages and supervise the test.

In addition, evaluators have several other tasks. According to Inep, they also conduct the assessments, record the details of the execution in an electronic system and communicate to Inep possible irregularities identified during the application of the exam.

In short, the evaluator must inspect and validate the Enem application procedures in person, such as:

  • Reception, storage and opening of packages containing sets of questions;
  • Arrival, training and performance of application team members on exam days;
  • Start and end of the tests according to the stipulated times, as well as the opening and closing of the application sites;
  • Return of Response Cards, Writing Sheets and administrative material, using the appropriate packages;
  • Use of additional rooms;
  • Verification of the identity of participants;
  • Replacement of tests and Answer Cards.

What is ENEM and how does it work?

The National High School Exam, known as ENEM, is an educational assessment applied annually in Brazil.

Created in 1998, ENEM's main objective is to evaluate the performance of students who have completed or are completing secondary education, covering areas such as Languages, Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Human Sciences

Além de medir a qualidade do ensino no país, o ENEM desempenha um papel fundamental como porta de entrada para diversas oportunidades educacionais e profissionais.

The exam results are used to access universities and higher education institutions through the Unified Selection System (SISU), to obtain scholarships through the University for All Program (ProUni), and for student financing through Student Financing Fund (FIES)

Furthermore, ENEM has also become a diagnostic tool for national education, contributing to the formulation of educational policies.

Course Training

According to the guidelines established by Inep, professionals who have their registrations confirmed must go through a distance training process, organized by the body itself, in preparation for taking the exam.

This means that only those who obtain a minimum performance of 70% in training will be considered eligible to contribute to Enem.

However, it is important to note that not everyone who goes through the training will be called to participate in the exam.

Furthermore, Inep reserves the right to call on qualified individuals to work only on one of the Enem application days or on both.

Therefore, certifiers who have undergone training must be ready and available to work on the indicated dates.

Enem 2023: Exams

The registration period for Enem 2023 has already closed, with Inep having received a total of approximately 4 million registrations by students.

According to the established schedule, the tests will be held on the 5th and 12th of November, with the application sites distributed across all states in Brazil.

The division of tests over the two assessment days will occur as follows:

  • November 5th (first day of the test): Assessment of Languages, Codes and their Technologies, Writing, Human Sciences and their Technologies;
  • November 12th (second day of the test): Tests in Mathematics and its Technologies, Natural Sciences and its Technologies.

The access gates will open at 12pm and close promptly at 1pm. The tests will begin at 1:30 pm, following the official Brasília time.
