Through Globoplay

First of all, let's talk about an app that deserves its own topic, since it's the official platform for most Brazilian soap operas.

Are you thinking of revisiting "Modern Times" or those old seasons of "Malhação"? It's all there!

But there's a catch: the programs are cut into smaller parts. Therefore, to watch old soap operas on your cell phone in their entirety, without cuts, you need to be a Globo.com subscriber.

Well, the app is available for both iPhone users (iOS) and Android users. And access to the programs is very simple:

  1. Open the Globoplay and scroll to the bottom. At the bottom, you'll find the "Replay" section.
  2. Click on the "+" icon in the bottom right-hand corner.
  3. Then just choose the program you want to watch.
  4. Then decide on the day of the episode you want to watch.
  5. On the page that opens, click on your chosen video.
  6. Finally, tap on the video image to start watching.

Done! Now all you have to do is watch old soap operas on your cell phone.

An extra tip is that Globoplay has a scheme called "freemium". This means that by paying R$ 12.90 per month you'll have access to some things that only subscribers have.
