Who is entitled to Vale Gás?
The Gas Allowance is intended for low-income families in a situation of social vulnerability, with a family income below the poverty line. To be eligible for Vale Gás, the following criteria must be met:
1. be registered with the Single Registry (CadÚnico) and keep the data updated on the platform;
2. Have a maximum monthly family income of half a minimum wage per person (R$ 660.00 in 2023) or a maximum total family income of three minimum wages;
3. Have a beneficiary of the Continuous Cash Benefit (BPC) or other government social programs.
It is important to note that the payment of Vale Gás can be combined with other benefits, such as Bolsa Família and similar programs.

How do I apply for the Vale Gás?
Want to know how to get a gas voucher? It's simple!
In order to receive the Gas Aid, a family must have a monthly income per person of no more than half the minimum wage (up to R$ 660.00 in 2023) and be registered with the Unified Registry (CadÚnico).
The benefit is paid through Caixa's Digital Social Savings. Even though it is made every two months, the Bolsa Família calendar is used as a reference for distributing the amounts to the beneficiaries.
