Students enrolled in the municipal, state and private schools need to register online from January 2 to apply for the Student Pass 2024, which is the benefit of free transportation.

The Student Pass 2024 is exclusively for students, who must be officially enrolled in an educational institution and provide proof of regular attendance at classes.
Students aged six and over who are enrolled in courses such as pre-school, elementary school, secondary school, supplementary schools, pre-university and university courses in various cities are eligible for the Student Pass.
Registration process
The registration process is available both via computer and cell phone.
On the website, all you have to do is fill in a form and send the necessary documents requested by the public transport company.
Once the procedure has been completed, you will receive a message informing you if you are able to inform the school of your desired courses.
To buy a student pass, it is essential that the form is approved by both the school and the bus company.
The town hall points out that it is possible to follow the status of the application via the website.
The Student Pass is valid for journeys between home and school, and/or between home and the company where the student is doing an internship, as long as there is proof of a distance of more than one kilometer.
These conditions are laid down in Municipal Law No. 6.494/77.
Fully online registration
Urbes - Trânsito e Transportes provides important information on how to obtain the Student Pass 2024.
Registration is carried out online and will be available from January 2 for state, municipal and private school students.
Even if you already have a Student Pass card, you need to follow the procedure.
To secure the benefit, you must meet the requirements of Decree 13.826/2003.
Students aged six and over enrolled in regular pre-school, elementary, high school, supplementary, pre-university and university courses at schools in Sorocaba or served by the municipality's urban public transport can receive the 2024 Student Pass.

The CEO of Urbes, Sergio Barreto, highlights the fact that the announcement has been brought forward due to the New Year's Eve celebrations, allowing those interested to plan their registration with peace of mind.
Registration is done online and can be accessed via computer or cell phone. It is simple to fill in, followed by attaching the necessary documents.
After the procedure, an orientation message will be displayed, followed by the registration validation process. The student pass is released after approval by the school and Urbes.
Order tracking
Students can track their application and receive guidance via the system. Monthly confirmation of attendance must be made online by the educational institution.
The Student Pass is exclusive to the beneficiary and is used for journeys between home and school, or between home and the internship company, as long as the distance is more than one kilometer, in accordance with Municipal Law No. 6.494/77.
